Obama Reaction On BP Test Results In Gulf Of Mexico

On Friday, on capped undersea well, BP 1st test results were inspiring and no oil is leaking now in Gulf of Mexico, said BP. On Thursday afternoon an image has shown, in which you can see that no oil is leaking now from the defected area.

Vice president at BP, Kent Wells, stated that the internal pressure of the undersea well had constructed and engineers will carry on their work and would perform different tests continuously and examine the videos from cameras to monitor the undersea well.

President Obama, in Washington, praised the BP test results but said that still any complication can be occurred, which could be more harmful than the original defect because corners had been bent.

President Obama, in the Rose Garden, stated that me and my administration is paying full concentration on this matter an all decisions will be made on the base of science and politics is not involved in it. At last he said final results will be achieved within a month.

Kent Wells said, the last valve was closed by a cap on Thursday and now no more oil is leaking from the undersea well. To continue the test for long time is good because it will indicate about the internal pressure of the well. On Friday morning a live video indicated that no oil leakage is occurring now.

After a number of unsuccessful efforts, at least BP test has done its work and no more oil is wasting now. Mr. Wells said, to check the position of the well, pressure tests were carried out. Now government and BP have to decide to continue the work or closed the well forever. Further decisions can be made on the BP test results.

On Thursday, Mr. Wells said, I am very happy that no more oil is wasting now in Gulf of Mexico.

Jeff Ussury said, it’s as if placing a Aid Band on a dead man in my point of view”. He mistrusted the news of capping on valves. “I began to trust in them,” he said, “but now I do not trust in them any longer.”

No actual amount of wasted oil can be found but it was in limited amount. The tragedy was not so big.
