Hair Loss Genes Have Discovered | T e c h n o l o g i e Z: "30th June, 2010-Researchers have discovered 8 genes which may be linked with “alopecia areata”, a skin disease, which cause of hair fall. Round about 5.3 million Americans are affected by this skin disease.

Such is one of the 1st examines to find genes associated to alopecia areata. What is most outstanding about the genes described is that they are already linked with autoimmune disorders, with type 1 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. Now, investigators at Columbia Medical Center sited in New York hint these genes could be objectives for new alopecia areata treatment."
